DESCRIPTION: The County Steinfurt and the cities and communities of Metelen, Neuenkirchen, Ochtrup, Rheine, Steinfurt and Wettringen have developed the project "Triangel - the fast climate-friendly bike path 3-corner in the district of Steinfurt".
In the sub-sections Ochtrup and Metelen, the fast bike path connection is led via the existing economic swing network. These economic trails are renovated by highly installation and designated as a bicycle road. In the Ochtrup area additionally evasive bays are placed on the economic roads to enable a secure encounter of cyclists and agricultural vehicles. The continuation of Metelen to Steinfurt takes place via the existing bike path of the old railway route. Here is also a renovation of the asphalt ceiling all lengths required.
