Description:
In the existing Stadtwerke Bielefeld GmbH building at Schweriner Str. 1 in Bielefeld, a data center will be built on the ground floor on approximately 50 percent of the existing space. The data center is implemented as a redundant data center in a 2N configuration and according to VK3 in accordance with DIN EN 50600eset.
The refrigeration supply is required for this data center.
Colding supply
The refrigeration supply of the data center consists of the creation of two supply systems of approx. 1,200 kW each with an almost identical structure. Each system is capable of providing the complete verseto ensure that the data center is provided with cooling (2N structure). Each system consists of two air-cooled cooling brine generators, each with approx. 600 kW cooling capacity and an integrated hydraulic module for outdoor installation on an on-site concrete foundation with an elevation of approx. 15 cm from the remaining terrain. ToPay attention to an environmentally friendly refrigerant and maximum use of free cooling. A water-glycol mixture with a 32% glycol content serves as the cooling medium for the consumers. This brine is transported using pipes made of welded steel pipes with dimensions of up to DN 300. Approx. 10% der Weld seams must be checked using radiography. The cable is laid outside and in the raised floor of the data center as well as as a wall, ceiling and floor cable within the building and is professionally fastened with cold clamps.
