Data center framework agreement Data center framework agreement The University of Lübeck operates an extensive and complex information technology (IT) infrastructure to provide digital services for research, teaching and administration. This includes Network and data center infrastructure with servers and storage systems, IT security and Unified Communications (UC) solutions as well as central IT services and applications. To ensure secure and high-quality IT operations, the IT infrastructure must be consistently available. Continuous modernization and needs-based expansion of the IT infrastructure is essential. Due to the already old age of some of the individual systems and the rapid technological change Modernization of the IT infrastructure at the University of Lübeck is required. The University of Lübeck as the client (AG) now largely uses system components from the manufacturer Cisco. In the interest of ensuring system security and the Ensuring security functions (potential risk of impairment of system operation) and avoiding any risk (malfunctions, compatibility problems, etc.) are essential for the renewal and further development of the existing system components planned over the next few years based on Cisco Systems.
