Energie und Wasser Potsdam GmbH intends to develop the use of geothermal heat within the framework of CHP and iCHP systems. Heat pump modules are operated on the site of the southern cogeneration plant of the Energie- und Wasser Potsdam (Zum Heizwerk 20, 14478 Potsdam). warmth from heat pumps represents an important contribution to the decarbonization of the city's heating network. A new building is necessary to accommodate the heat pump modules and their peripheral systems. This section will accommodate three heat pump systems, which will utilize the thermal potential of the brine water from deep geothermal drillings. The middle section is used to accommodate the transformer systems. the Potential and the necessary space for the construction and operation of another heat pump (to use the river water).
