- Description:
- The 2025 maintenance of the existing BfS large autoclave in the cell culture laboratory identified an urgent need for replacement because the system no longer passes the vacuum-air test. The autoclave (also steam sterilizer) is part of the license to operate in our cell culture laboratory, which is why this measure must be carried out in order to ensure proper laboratory operation. For energy reasons, because of shorter heating and cooling times and smaller amounts of wastewater (important for the decay system in the control area), we would like to purchase a tandem system consisting of two sterilizers and a centrally arranged (double) lifting device as a replacement instead of a device with 216L usable volume. Decisive for their nature are the two destruction containers that occur as a maximum load and occur regularly at the same time for each batch and device. The system must be delivered and put into operation and the application must be trained. A maintenance contract is part of the tender. The old system must be dismantled and disposed of properly after the clearance measurement has been carried out. Please see the tender documents for further information.
