- Delivery and introduction of a hospital information system (KIS) Delivery and introduction of a hospital information system (KIS) The client, Klinikum Chemnitz gGmbH, is a maximum care hospital run by the municipality and counts one of the largest municipal hospitals in Germany. The non-profit company has 1,735 planned beds at three locations in Chemnitz and provides its services in 25 clinics and institutes. In 2024, around 61,700 patients and Patients are treated as full-time and part-time inpatients and around 75,000 patients are treated as outpatients. Around 7,500 people are employed in the clinic as well as in the subsidiaries and associated companies; the group achieved annual sales of approximately 660 euros in 2024 € million. Klinikum Chemnitz gGmbH is 100 percent owned by the city of Chemnitz (municipal sponsorship) and is organized as a gGmbH. As an academic teaching hospital of the universities of Leipzig and Dresden, the clinic is involved in research and Teaching integrated. The medical model course MEDiC - Human Medicine is run in Chemnitz together with the TU Dresden (campus/medical campus at the Chemnitz Clinic).
