• Description:
• The commercial airports in the Federal Republic of Germany are subject to the obligation to operate with published operating times. In order to enable take-offs and landings in scheduled and unscheduled air traffic, during the winter service season When the weather is appropriate, the operational safety of the airports is maintained with the help of suitable winter service measures. Fraport AG is responsible for carrying out and coordinating winter service. Fraport keeps different tanks to ensure traffic safety and silos for floor de-icing agents, road salt and road sand.
