- The subject of the tender is the planning, delivery, construction and commissioning of the Rhine water system (Los RLS) as the central water technology infrastructure for the river water heat pump system WPA2 on the site of the large-scale Mannheim power plant (GKM). The lot RLS includes in particular the installation of two new Rhine water pumps in the existing pump house of Block 7, the installation of a new belt machine, the construction of the necessary steel pipes indoors, the connection to the through Another lot laid GRP cables outside as well as the integration of all main and secondary components into the existing building and system technology of GKM AG. The scope of services includes all planning work, piping and Steel construction assembly, production and delivery of components, acceptance, testing, commissioning support as well as dismantling of existing pumps and pipelines. The RLS lot also includes the installation of baffles and baffles in the pump chamber as well as the complete documentation. As part of MVV's decarbonization strategy, a second river water heat pump system (WPA2) with a thermal output of up to 165 MW is to be installed at the Mannheim large power plant site.
