As part of the BGR contract with the International Sea Board Authority (IMB), the BGR is obliged to record fundamental environmental parameters to explore polymetallic tubers (also called manganese nubs) in the northeastern Pacific. To the scope of the prescribed examinationsIn addition to recording the flow close to the ground, it also includes determining the natural particle flow from the surface water to the sea floor.
