- At the Professorship construction and construction process of the Bauhaus University Weimar, innovative procedures for digitization in construction as well as the integration, use and examination of existing and newly obtained data are examined in connection with BIM (Building Information Modeling). Sometimes several specially trained specialists, each with their own special technology, are required to obtain building -related data (spatial data, thermal data, acoustic data, etc.). In addition to the high coordination effort, the data acquisition and evaluation is also made more difficult by the shortage of skilled workers and is therefore often inflexible, incomplete and costly in terms of time.
