Description:
The professorship of building physics at the Bauhaus University Weimar plans to buy a system to investigate the spread of air-borne particles and aerosols for research in the field of aerosol-related spread of infectious diseases in closed rooms. The measurement of the concentration of other fluid -based and dry particles (e.g. fine dust) is another goal of the scientific studies.
Los 1: Aerodynamic particle size spectrometer with accessories
An aerodynamic particle size spectrometer is to be used to examine the particle size distribution. The interesting area of the particle size is between 0.2 µm and 30 µm.
Lot 2: Aerosol generator with accessories
An aerosol generator is to be used to provide aerosols of artificial origin. The generic aerosols are said to be based on non-fleeting liquids (e.g. DEHS) or aqueous suspensions of polystyrene latex particles, or PSL for short.
