At the Hohen Wangelin location, the State Research Institute for Agriculture and Fishing MV is operating an investment to develop commercial pikeperch production. The aim of the project is to set up a commercial pikeperch culture in location-independent rearing systems in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The concentrations of the nitrogen compounds ammonium, nitrite, nitrate and phosphorus and CSB are crucial for the successful production of zander and compliance with official limit values in the waste water.
