- Production and delivery of a positioning, imaging and treatment platform for mice for the implementation of biomedical research in the field of flash radiation therapy and radioobiology.
Delivery, installation and commissioning of a modular platform for precise Positioning, computer tomography imaging and radiation treatment of mice for preclinical experiments in the area of flash radiation therapy at the Desy location Zeuthen (Flashlab@Pitz). The system must be compatible with both internal X -rays and external electron rays. Among other things, it includes a robot -controlled positioning table, flexible animal beds for various storage, radiation -specific collimators and filters, as well as image reconstruction software. In addition, it must be transportable, integrated into the existing Pitz infrastructure and with whose security systems are compatible.
