  • The Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy e.V. (ATB) intends to purchase a new pump tanker with NIRS sensors for the Leibniz Innovation Center for Sustainable Bioeconomy (locationt Gross Kreutz).
    The forward-looking, transfer-oriented basic research at the Leibniz-Innovationshof aims at circular, bio-economic production processes. Crop production is under the motto "diversification through digitization", e.g. through precise, small-scale control and knowledges-based management. The diversification also includes an expansion of the range of cultivation with new cultures and cultivation methods tailored to them.
    In order to implement these research tasks, a for digitization will be used for arable and grassland management at the Gross Kreutz siteIn agriculture, technically optimally equipped pump tankers are required, which are suitable for a large number of liquid and, if necessary, also acidified substrates. Since the areas are up to 20 km away from the farm and have to be reached on public roads, the tanker has tohave impressive driving characteristics. A tractor with 153 kW is used as the towing vehicle. Due to the use for experimental purposes, an exact substrate and nutrient quantity determination and control is essential.
