- Local public transport in the city of Zwickau is provided by Städtische Verkehrsbetriebe Zwickau GmbH (SVZ GmbH) and consists of two tram and thirteen bus lines. As part of the complex measure "Redesign of the station forecourt, Inner city tangent and transverse tram "in Zwickau (GVFG 09) - sub-project station forecourt, SVZ GmbH intends to procure rails and switches. The scope of delivery includes the delivery of track construction material free to the construction site for Tram track system 1000 mm gauge consisting of: - 2 pieces of brand-new switches including underthreads, rail chamber elements pre-assembled as well as adjusting devices and earth boxes according to LV, - approx. 895 m grooved rails 60 R2 (straight and curved), - approx. 226 m Vignol rails 49E1 (straight and curved), - 2 pieces of track groove rails for 49, suitable for 49E1 and - 10 pieces of transition rails 49E1 / 60 R2.
