- At the Hohen Wangelin site, a research facility for the development of commercial zander production is operated by the state research institute for agriculture and fisheries MV. The aim of the project is to set up a commercial zander aquaculture in location-independent rearing systemsin Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. An essential environmental parameter for the successful rearing of zander is the level of dissolved oxygen in the production water. At the same time, rearing in location-independent aquaculture requires a stock density that requires the use of technical oxygenrequires. For this reason, the use of technical oxygen in intensive rearing systems is imperative with regard to well-being, fish health and performance characteristics. The rented supply facility (tank system) with ein a volume of approx. 14 m3, which is currently used to supply oxygen to the fish population in the pilot plant. The last contractually bound filling of the tank system took place in May 2023. Based on the consumption values of the last year, in the period 01.07.2023 to 06/30/2026 assumed a requirement of about 150 t technical oxygen (liquid) 2.5.
