- In accordance with the law on fire protection, assistance and disaster control, the Rhein-Sieg district operates a district fire station to look after the supra-local interests of the municipal fire departments. With regard to the further expansion of disaster control and the tasks ahead Civil Defense intends to procure two swap-loader vehicles of the same type with a roll-off tipper system, which can be flexibly equipped with roll-off containers. This means that the vehicles will not only be used to fulfill the tasks of the district fire department, but will also be used in the future to supply Emergency equipment is available on WLF as part of fire and disaster protection. For reasons of operational safety and the training to be carried out, the vehicles must be equipped identically in terms of structure, operation and technology. No reorientation is permitted under normal and operational conditions of employees on different systems must be carried out.
