- The Computer Vision in Engineering (CV) and Modeling and Simulation Construction (MSK) professorships at the Bauhaus University Weimar deal, among other things, with the automated evaluation and interpretation of image-based information as part of digital building inspections. The current work focuses on UAS-based aerial image evaluation for highly accurate 3D reconstructions of extensive structural structures, the autonomous exploration of unknown environments with real-time capable image-based methods for simultaneous localization and map creation, as well as robust obstacle avoidance. In addition, the automatic recognition of particularly interesting object structures, such as. B.
