• The House of History of the Federal Republic of Germany Foundation presents German history from the post-war period to the present in a visitor-friendly and experience-oriented manner at three locations (Bonn, Leipzig and Berlin). In addition to the Permanent exhibitions, attractive temporary exhibitions, diverse events and publications delve into individual aspects of contemporary history. In its work, the foundation addresses all sections of the population across generations. The Foundation intends to award an order to the following: Design and production of the accompanying volume for the permanent exhibition "You are part of history. Germany since 1945" in the House of History of the Federal Republic of Germany. The publication should be in one visually strong, reader-friendly and contemporary layout, the special quality of the exhibition and its unique selling points - objects and their stories - come to the fore. The publication therefore consistently focuses on those in the Objects shown in the exhibition, the focus is specifically on a selection of around 40 objects. Their stories are told in short, pointed texts and placed into larger historical contexts. This makes it possible to experience how closely personal experiences are and social developments since 1945 are linked together - in keeping with the motto “You are part of history”. The publishing services include: layout development and design by a graphic designer in coordination with the client, Proofreading the layout, viewing the proofs in Bonn together with the manufacturer or with the responsible publishing employee, lithography up to printing, printing/binding (production monitoring).
