Communication with the public is an important part of BGZ's corporate policy and one of six corporate guidelines. The BGZ maintains constant and constructive communication with all stakeholders. Topics are addressed proactively and transparently. At the Ahaus and Gorleben locations, the BGZ has its own information centers (see https://bgz.de/kontakt/) as rooms of dialogue and encounters with local citizens. In Berlin, the BGZ has set up a conference and dialogue center, which includes an information office. At the BGZ dialogue locations, people should be introduced to the BGZ topics. This should happen through exhibitions. The exhibitions should be as interactive as possible and, where appropriate, enriched with digital applications so that visitors can actively "develop" knowledge themselves and without assistance. Digital applications also ensure that content is revised quickly and flexibly or to meet new needs can be tailored. The new exhibitions at the interim storage locations are intended to increase the attractiveness of the BGZ information centers so that a visit to the location appears worthwhile even if it is not possible to visit the camp.
The provision of services includes the complete detailed conception, design and implementation, i.e. the complete performance profile of the core services according to HOAS-2, 2022 in service phases 1 - 7 as well as special services.
