Description:
The subject of the tender includes the design, manufacture and delivery of a turbocharger for a Brayton cycle based heat pump. The turbocharger is to be used in a new type of high-temperature heat pump (HTWP), which is being developed by the Institute for Low-CO2 industrial processes from the German Aerospace Center (DLR) are used in a ceramics factory. Ambient air is used as the working medium. The connections at the compressor inlet and at the turbine outlet are expected to have a size of DN500. The exact dimensions will be communicated to the contractor at the project kick-off. Further information can be found in the attached service description (Annex 1 of the contract documents).
