- DESY currently operates 4 resources with evaporative coolers, 3 cooling plants with hybrid coolers and 2 cooling plants with adiabats on the company premises. The evaporative coolers are in accordance with 42. BImSchV and VDI 2047 Bl. 2 at regular intervals on legionella and various parametersto test. The hybrid coolers with a water tub must also be released on legionella and various parameters from spring to autumn, also at regular intervals. The same applies to the dessert water of the adiabats cooler without a water tub.
