Description:
The German Electron Synchrotron DESY is a research facility with locations in Hamburg and Zeuthen (Brandenburg). On the DESY campus in Hamburg, the new building of an integrated technology and start-up center (ITGZ I) will be built as a location for innovation projects with a flexible and multifunctional research and communication center was built. The project is part of the "Science City Hamburg Bahrenfeld" development area. As part of these plans, the southern part of the DESY campus will also be replanned and further developed. The construction site is located on the DESY site between building 11b in the west and the warehouses belonging to the University of Hamburg in the east. To the north, the access road leads past the eastern campus entrance. In the northeastern construction site there is a group of trees that must be protected and preserved. Internal ones lie to the south Access roads and building 03. The size of the building site being worked on is 6,050 m2.
