- As part of the expansion of the former Kassel-Calden airfield into the Kassel Airport regional airport, the city of Kassel, the district of Kassel and the municipality of Calden have entered into a reconciliation agreement with HLG and other agreements dated December 19, 2018 ("IAV") veragreed to develop an "inter-communal commercial and industrial area Kassel Calden" ("commercial area") on the area of the former airfield, which should also ensure a sustainable energy supply for the residents beyond the normal level.
