• The Passau Clinic ("Clinic") is the leading focus hospital in Eastern Bavaria with around 2,400 employees. In the 19 specialist departments with a total of 660 beds, including the Hellge Clinic, 10 dialysis places and 8 semi-inpatient pain therapy places, around 31,000 patients are used every yearInpatient and around 41,000 patients cared for on an outpatient basis. The Passau Clinic is currently operating two cardiac catheter laboratories with a hemodynamic measurement place each. One of the two existing laboratories is equipped with an electrophysiological examination unit (EPU). The Passau Clinic plays asFocus supplier for the eastern Lower Bavaria A highlighted role in the patient care of the region. The clinic is the only hospital in Lower Bavaria to have a specialist department for cardiac surgery.
