- A DVT device (digital volume tomograph) is required here, which is suitable for imaging on bones and joints for answering traumatological and orthopedic questions (cutting image diagnosis of bone and joint diseases of the extremities). An investigation must alsobe feasible on the following extremities/body areas: cervical spine, shoulder, upper arm, elbow, forearm, wrist, hand, finger, knee, lower leg, ankle, foot and toes. In addition to the conventional indications, examinations must also be carried out under load.The aim is to improve imaging due to higher resolution with a simultaneous reduced radiation exposure (due to the often young age of patients, great value is placed on the reduction of the associated radiation exposure).
