• Description:
• A digital microscope with motorized/automatic operation and evaluation unit or computer including the necessary software and licenses should be purchased. The device should be suitable for microscopically relevant pathogens of vegetable production, such as fungi (e.g. Botrytis cinerea, Fusarium oxysporum), oomycetes (e.g. Peronospora destructor), as well as bacterial pathogens (e.g. Xanthomonas campestris) and their effects on plant cells, such as cell wall dissolution, necrosis or hyphal growth analyze. For a future-proof setup in the field of digital microscopy, a preparation-free element analysis unit must be retrofittable so that the chemical elements of sample material can also be analyzed. Furthermore there are functions essential for pivoting, different lighting modes and safe sample handling thanks to a camera built into the tripod that shows the distance between the sample and the lens. Since the device should be used in as many different ways as possible, one ease of use is important. Furthermore, training and support must be included without follow-up costs in order to keep running costs low. The service description is attached to this publication.
