Description:
The Korbach Hospital is a modern health center with 249 beds in which more than 10,900 inpatients and 17,000 outpatients are treated in the medical and rehabilitative fields every year. It includes the following specialist departments: medical clinic, surgery, gynecology and obstetricsAid, anesthesia and surgical intensive care medicine as well as the departments for ear, nose and throat medicine and urology.
At the hospital there is a medical care center (practice for gynecology and obstetrics, practice for internal medicine with a focus on cardiology and haematologyie / oncology, practice for surgery) as well as specialist practices for radiology and nuclear medicine, internal medicine, urology, surgery, neurology, neurosurgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery and orthopaedics.
Under the project name "City Hospital 4.0 - moving digitally together" the Stadtkrankenhaus Korbach the various projects within the framework of the KHZG. The hospital has access to funds from the KHZG for investing in digitization. These funds flow, among other things, into the project advertised here "Entry into the "paperless hospital" with the introduction of afully digital patient data management system (PDMS) including anesthesia information management system (AIMS)."
