Description:
Stadtbetriebe Hennef intends to hand over the sewage sludge produced at the Hennef sewage treatment plant to a suitable specialist company for proper disposal. The resulting sewage sludge is to be used for agricultural purposes. If agricultural use, e.g. due to a limit valueIf the limit is exceeded, temporarily not possible, the accumulated sludge must be thermally disposed of for up to three months.
The warehouse has not been completely cleared since the beginning of the service on January 1st, 2024. The amount of sewage sludge accumulated in the period from about October up to and including December is in clsludge storage (approx. 630 t). This quantity also counts towards the
order quantity. For the contract period of 3 years, this results in a total volume of around 7,500 t over three years. This assumes that the stock levels in early 2024 and late 2026 will be roughly equal.
