Description:
The Stadtentwicklungsgesellschaft Recklinghausen mbH (SER), as a wholly owned subsidiary of the city of Recklinghausen, is responsible for the implementation of the "Integrated District Development Concept Hillerheide" (ISEK Hillerheide) as well as the realization of everything related to thisn and necessary measures have been commissioned. A forward-looking model has been defined for sustainable district development. The following goals and objectives are of particular importance: - No development/heat supply with district heating from existing heating networksn - No development/heat supply with gas - Energy supply based on renewable energies, 100% CO2/climate-neutral heat supply - Low energy standards for buildings - Perspective development into an "energy" district. These objectives are incorporated into the previous conceptsflows and must also be taken into account in further planning and operation. According to the assumptions of the feasibility study dated August 22, 2023, around 360 buildings with around 900 residential units and a gross floor area (GFA) of 157,000 m2 are to be built on the site of the former harness racing track. Furthermore, ist a school with a sports hall, a daycare center, a local supplier and areas for businesses are planned. A building standard according to KfW 40 is predominantly used for the new buildings to be constructed.
