Description:
At the Cottbus location, the DLR plans the construction of test and test systems of the first stage of expansion in the HEPCO test environment for the Institute for Electrified Aviation Drives (Institut EL).
It was for testing and testing companies, so-called Hepco test benches (= Hybrid Electric Propulsion Cottbus-Test stands), an existing logistics store with upstream office building on the former Cottbus airfield by the DLR.
The former logistics hall, "PX-Kabel-Halle", the 2-storey office cultivation and far cantilevered canopies with the construction years 2014 are on the associatedPlot with an area of approx. 193,000 m2.
The usable areaThe hall amounts to around 13,180 m2. About 1/3 of the hall was rented to Deutsche Bahn by the end of 2026 and divided with a ceiling -high partition. Due to the existing support grid indoors at 8.20 x 25.00 m and in the edge area with 8.20 x 29.50 m of the hall resultRestricted expansion options. Basically, the floor plan dimensions of approx. 25 x 45 m for e.g. the installation of a one -story test building are also possible.
