• Description:
• The school campus of the Donaueschingen commercial schools consists of three building parts. Building B, built in 1980/81, has age-related defects. The reinforced concrete construction with exposed concrete elements and outdated insulation no longer meets today's standards. The main roof of the The theory building is a flat roof with skylights and a PV system that is being renovated. The workshop areas have shed roofs that are affected by water damage. These will be replaced by a flat roof with a PV system and skylights. The outer shell has not yet been comprehensively renovated no longer meets current energy requirements. The exposed concrete curtain wall is to be replaced by a modern wooden facade. In the interior, the renovation focuses on pollution and fire protection as well as the renewal of electrical engineering, including computer cabling, LED lighting and KNX control.
