The total performance includes the excavation, transport and relocation of approx. 3.5 million m³ of soil volume (surface measurement). A proportion of approximately 3.0 million m³ is to be washed onto land-based deposit areas. The remaining portion of approximately 0.6 million m³ of soil must be dumped onto the deposit areas in the Ems estuary.
