Description:
In the construction port of Breisach (Rhine km 252,640), port of Maxau (Rhine km 362,650) and raft port of Worms (Rhine km 442,950) of the Upper Rhine Waterways and Shipping Authority, incorrect depths have developed in the mooring and fairway areas. The essential construction work includes the necessary Wet dredging in the aforementioned areas to restore the target profile, transferring the dredged material into transport ships, transporting the material to the contractor's point of use. The material must be unloaded, used or recycled at the point of use dispose. There are around 1,000m³ of material to be taken from the Breisach construction port, around 1,100m³ of material from the Maxau port and around 1,100m³ from the Worms raft port. Of this, around 600m³ of dredged material can be relocated in the raft harbor. This can be taken out, loaded and transported to the dumping point at Rhine km 444,500 444,600 right bank to transport. There it is scattered back into the Rhine. The measure must be implemented between January 7th and March 31st, 2026.
