- LOT 1: Firewalls As part of the ongoing IT and network infrastructure as well as IT security strategy of e-netz Südhessen AG, the reliable, powerful and secure connection, segmentation and security of the company networks is of central importance Meaning. The currently used firewall systems (Lot 1) and IP/MPLS components (Lot 2) will soon reach the end of their life cycle (End of Life, EoL) and will no longer be provided with security updates and technical support by the respective manufacturers supplied. In order to continue to guarantee the integrity, availability and security of the IT and network infrastructure, the timely procurement and implementation of new hardware components for the firewall systems and the IP/MPLS network is essential necessary. This tender invites qualified suppliers to submit offers for the supply of high-performance firewall and IP/MPLS hardware components. The aim is to replace existing systems with future-proof solutions that meet current network security, performance and compliance requirements. The subject of LOT 1 is the procurement of firewall hardware components including the associated licenses and, if applicable Manufacturer support services in accordance with the following requirements and price sheet.
