- The water management office in Deggendorf is carrying out structural improvement measures on the lower Isar between Plattling and the confluence with the Danube.
The aim of these measures is to renaturate the floodplain landscape and improve the river bed stability.
It is planned to implement the "Angergries" in February/March 2023.
For this purpose, deposits (flood sediments) and raised bank edges will be removed on the right side of the Isar.
Then a watercourse profile will be excavated and modelled.
The existing bank path will be prepared as a construction road in advance. He willgradually dismantled and removed in the course of the demolition work.
