- Description:
- The Deggendorf Water Management Office is carrying out structural improvement measures on the lower Isar between Plattling and the mouth of the Danube. The aim of these measures is to renaturate the floodplain landscape and improve the stability of the river bed. The "Angergries" measure is divided into two areascarried out in phases: The first construction phase was completed in February/March 2023. The 2nd construction phase must be carried out by the deadlines specified in Form L 214. For this purpose, landfills (flood sediments) and raised bank edges will be removed on the right side of the Isar. Then eggn River profile excavated and modeled.
The existing bank path is prepared in advance as a construction road. It will be gradually dismantled and removed as part of the removal work.
