- The AGAPLESION Diakonieklinikum Rotenburg is a denominational maximum care hospital in Lower Saxony and an academic teaching hospital of the Medical Faculty of the University of Hamburg. The clinic cares for around 32,000 fully inpatient and 640 day-care and 127,000 outpatient treatment cases as well as 22,000 outpatient emergencies per year. There are around 657 beds available in 23 specialist departments (see bed layout plan). 1,500 children are born in the Diakonieklinikum every year. The The “House A-OP Expansion” construction project includes an expansion of 2 operating theaters, with 1 operating room being equipped as a hybrid operating room. The new building is being built as an extension to the existing operating room department as an independent, elevated building cube so that it is connected to the Connects the ground floor level with the existing structures of the existing operating room department. In this context, the surgical warehouse will also be expanded.
