Description:
Stadtwerke Ludwigsburg-Kornwestheim GmbH are planning to build a new energy center to supply heat and power to the large district heating network, with the option of connecting other surrounding areas in the future. The new network connection to be created enables the integration of heat from againrenewable energies (biomethane). The planned location of the Waldacker energy center is to the west of Ludwigsburg. According to the current status, a generation concept with biomethane combined heat and power plants (CHP) and a natural gas combined heat and power plant for the generation of Strom and heat, consisting of the following main system parts: 1 x highly efficient combined heat and power unit using a combined heat and power plant with approx.Combined heat and power plants, each with 4.5 MW electric 2 heat pumps with efficient integration for the use of waste heat from: - Third stage exhaust gas (exhaust gas outlet temperatures of approx. 40 C) Use of room air of the CHP plants Use of the second mixture cooling stage II (GK II) of CHP plants . the total power3,650 kW . 4 x heat accumulators, each with a capacity of approx. 250 m³ . Natural gas boiler to cover the supply at peak loads or in the event of failure of a large CHP plant with approx. 10 MW
