- EVS is a private railway infrastructure company based in Stolberg i. Rhineland. EVS operates a network of single-track branch lines according to EBO in the Aachen city region and in the Dueren district. The route 2570, Bf Herzogenrath - Stolberg Hbf (approx. 19 km) has a Re10 overhead line0 electrify using steel poles. There are already 15 kV 16.7 Hz overhead line systems in the Stolberg Hbf and Herzogenrath train stations. The Stolberg Hbf and Herzogenrath train stations are train stations with infrastructure boundaries to DB Netz AG. Three infrastructure crossings in the Herzoge train stationnrath are to be electrified. Feed-ins are created in Herzogenrath (existing switching post of DB Energie GmbH) and Stolberg Hbf (new switching post of EVS). Construction will take place in three phases under full closure.
