Description:
The Aalen University of Applied Sciences intends to purchase an electron beam melting system.
A system for electron beam melting (Electron Beam Melting, EBM) should procure the additive production of components from moon dust as well as metals for space travel, medical technology and automotive industry become. The system must be able to process different materials and have standard processing parameters for common materials. In addition, it should offer the opportunity to process new and challenging materials, for which a free choice and adaptation of the process parameters essential is. The system should be user -friendly and enable easy retrofitting between different materials. Maintenance and maintenance must be carried out with minimal workload.
