A 40, ENB BW Hardenberg Bridge and Geitlingstrasse, ENB Hardenberg Bridge and Geitlingstrasse
The remaining useful life of the "Hardenberg Bridge" bridge structure expires in 2026 and the the "bridge over Geitlingstrasse" as early as 2025.
For the replacement building, closure breaks had to be registered with Deutsche Bahn several years in advance in order to carry out the lifting work to ensure dismantling and new construction. The lockdown breaks, which must be maintained, have been confirmed for the years 2026 and 2027.
Due to the structural dependency of the shared retaining walls, the bridge over Geitlingstrasse must be dismantled and rebuilt together with the BW Hardenberg Bridge be built.

Demolish approx. 840 t of steel structure
Create approximately 30,400 m³ excavation pit
Produce approximately 7640 m2 of reinforced concrete
