The "Visitor mine and Museum Kleinenbremen" (BBMK) is the only authentically preserved iron ore mine and museum in the Westphalia region. TheBuildings on the property were built between 1935 and 1938 and reflect the architecture and industrial style of this time. The mining company itself was active until 1957 and thus played an important role in the regional economy and culture. Today canInterested parties not only visit the historical sites, but also learn more about the techniques and challenges of mining. The BBMK is therefore an important place for education and memory of mining history in Westphalia.All parts of the building of an ensemble protection that includes both the outer and the inner design. Since 1988, the property has been used as a museum with an attached workshop as well as storage and exhibition areas.
The historical building is intended to renovate energetically and imTechnically modernized.
