• An appraisal is to be prepared for the Lichtenburg Castle property, which shows the building maintenance and repair costs for the property over the next 30 years. The property of Lichtenburg Castle in Prettin is owned by the Federal Real Estate Agency [BImA]. The castle was built in the 16th century as a widow's residence, later as a penal and reformatory, during the Nazi era as a concentration camp and finally as Agricultural business used in the GDR era. Part of the property will be used as a memorial, another part will be used as a museum again from 2027 after renovation work. The entire property is listed. About it In addition, the likely increase in construction costs and inflation must be taken into account.
