Description:
In 2016, the state capital Magdeburg announced a "non-open open space planning ideas competition", including public participation in two stages, on the "Hyparschale/Stadthalle environment".
As a result of the intended uses, sub-areas were defined that were upgraded accordinglyrden.
Subarea 1.1 - Parking lot
The exhibition halls, which have now been demolished, were located in this area until 2015.
The new parking lot is to be built here, including handicapped-accessible parking spaces and bus parking spaces for visitors to the town hall and the Rotehorn city park.
Subarea 1.2 - Zuroute
In the north of the planning area, a new connecting road between the Kleiner Stadtmarsch street and Stadtparkstrasse will ensure the connection via Stadtparkstrasse to the city center and the East Elbe urban area of Magdeburg.
Subarea 2 - Festwiese
You stayThe character of their use is largely preserved and upgraded. In addition to the current use, parking spaces for bicycles are intended to replace the currently disordered bicycle parking.
Subarea 3 - Albinmueller Tower area
The nearby outdoor area of the observation tower will continue to be aUsed as an access area to the Albinmueller Tower. Additional bicycle parking options are to be arranged south of the tower.
Section 4 - Promenade
