- Description:
- For the dismantling of buildings and building structures on the premises of the Rheinsberg nuclear power plant (KKR), an overarching nuclear permit is being applied for in accordance with Section 7 Paragraph 3 of the Atomic Energy Act (AtG). For this purpose, the necessary application documents, etc. a. created in accordance with Section 3 of the Nuclear Law Procedural Ordinance (AtVfV). In order to determine the obligation to carry out an environmental impact assessment (EIA) in accordance with the Environmental Impact Assessment Act (UVPG) for the dismantling of the buildings, on the basis of the existing permits, a so-called “general preliminary examination of the individual case” (UVP-VP). Further measures are needed to dismantle the buildings on the site, such as the construction and operation of a new passenger lock Concrete processing center, a laboratory required. Planning is currently underway for this and separate applications for approval will subsequently be submitted.
