• Description:
• The subject of the contract is the implementation of the accompanying and development project “Gender equality-oriented impact analysis of the climate adaptation strategy of the state of Saxony-Anhalt”. The aim of the project is to improve the existing climate adaptation strategy To systematically analyze the state of Saxony-Anhalt and the action plan contained therein with regard to gender-related and intersectional effects and, on this basis, to develop proposals for their further development. The results are to be prepared in such a way that they can be incorporated directly into the updating of the climate adaptation strategy of the state of Saxony-Anhalt. The service includes in particular the analysis of existing measures and the development of additional and modified ones Measures from a gender equality perspective as well as the conception of instruments for the sustainable integration of gender mainstreaming into the updating and implementation of the strategy. In addition, the service includes raising awareness of relevant Promoters and actors involved for gender equality aspects in climate adaptation, in particular through suitable exchange and qualification formats. In particular, the technical guidelines and recommendations for action from the Fourth Federal Equality Report must be taken into account and applied to the specific framework conditions of the state of Saxony-Anhalt.
