Description:
The project "Processing further development of the rearing of pikeperch fishing for an economic production of Indian aquaculture in Hohen Wangelin" is funded by the EU and the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. As part of the project, the State Research Institute for Agriculture and Fishing MV operates a pilot plant for the development of commercial pikeperch production at the project. The aim of the project is to set up a commercial pikeperch culture in location-independent rearing systems in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. In the current project phase, significant gains of knowledge with regard to the rearing of juvenile pikeperch of 0.05 - 2 g in rectangular pools are to be obtained by adapting a large module. Furthermore, results with regard to the improvement of the posture environment and the cultivation in this special phase of life should be achieved.
