Description: The route section Flörsheim (Main) - Mainz-Kastel and the free route Hattersheim - Flörsheim (Main) on the north Mainine route between Frankfurt and Wiesbaden (VzG route 3603) as well as the free route junction Kaiserbrücke Ost - junction Kostheim - Mainz -Bischofsheim on the Mainz bypass line (VzG route 3525) and the free route Abzw Kostheim - Abzw Kostheim Ost (VzG route 3531) are to be converted to ESTW technology.
As part of the conversion to ESTW technology, the level crossing at item 35 must be dismantled.
The BÜ replacement measure includes the extension of the existing pedestrian underpass, which currently exists between platforms track 1 and track 2/3, to the bank of the Rhine.
