In the course of the capacity expansion of the Frankfurt Airport, a variety of measures to expand the existing infrastructure are planned. An essential part of the expansion represents the realization of the planned terminal 3.
In order to be able to offer a fast and powerful connection to the airport stock and the public infrastructure (public transport / remote and regional train) for the new terminal 3, Fraport was commissioned to plan a new passenger transport system (PTS).
For this purpose, the realization of a new passenger transport system (PTS) is from a new station in the area of the arrival forward at terminal 1 (station F) via the area Fahrsteig C and the Terminal 2 area with the station T2 to the new terminal 3 planned.
